I'm a 20-year-old pursuing a double degree in Mathematics and Economics at Queen's University, Canada. My interests lie in growth equity, macroeconomics, and applied econometrics. I like using qualitative and quantitative methods to understand and address complex problems in science, economics, and markets.
Although a Toronto-native, I chose Queen's University in Kingston for its interdisciplinary education in both the Arts and Sciences and because of a generous scholarship that was offered to me. Following my interest in systems analysis, statistics, mathematics, human decisions and incentive structures, I decided to pursue degrees in both Economics and Mathematics. You can find the details of my coursework here.
I want to play a small role in pushing humanity forward, uncovering more discoveries in the social and natural sciences and solving complex problems in the context of both academia and business. I'm also a competitive classical guitarist, history geek, an aspiring triathlete and an extreme adrenaline junkie (to my own detriment at times).
Alongside my coursework, I also work at the Queen's student government, the AMS, in a paid role as a Finance and Operations Manager, working on operational and fiscal design and planning for over 300 student clubs and organizations.
I also work as a research assistant for the Conflict Analytics Lab, an interdisciplinary research lab between the Queen's Faculty of Law, Queen's School of Computing and Deel Lab for Global Employment, working with faculty and graduate students on specific data analysis, processing and management for legal, HR and regulatory compliance research.
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to intern in venture capital, fintech and research in both non-technical and technical roles, including operations, data science, and partnerships. Below you can find the firms I've been able to work at and my exact roles.
